Everyone must be counted for the 2020 US Census

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Washington Census Equity Fund! This funding will help us support outreach and education opportunities for a robust and accurate count in the #2020Census.

Reducing Pesticides Exposure in Farmworkers and Refugees for 2019-2020

CHWCMR is one of the selected grantees by the Department of Ecology, State of Washington for "Reducing Pesticides Exposure in Farmworkers and Refugees for 2019-2020".  The porject goal is to reduce the exposure to pesticides for migrants, seasonal farmworkers, landscapers and refugee communities. Community members will increase their knowledge of how to reduce pesticide waste in their application and how to respond to pesticide exposure.

Barclay-Giel Seed Grant Recipient

The Barlcay-Giel Seed Grant program is funded by the PHS Commisssioned Officers Foundation for the Advancement of Public Health. ​The program is named after the late Martha Barclay-Giel, a retired Captain of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Captain Barclay-Giel dedicated her life's worth to advancing the health of Americans. After retiring, she donated considerable sums of money to COF and is a member of the John Adams Society.
